In its early years, Tacko primarily focused on fulfilling the construction needs of the automotive industry. As the company grew, so did its capabilities and expertise. We currently have two major divisions – our civil department and vertical department.

As a self-performing General Contractor, our civil department offers a broad range of services. These include site grading, heavy excavation, facility site preparation, concrete & asphalt work, DOT work, Green / LEED construction, water and sewer line, landscaping services, environmental remediation services, and much more.
Organization plays a vital role in all projects. By using one source to manage all subcontractors, we implement a streamline approach which simplifies and consolidates the management process.
We have many years of experience working with globally recognized manufacturers constructing their assembly plants in the Southeast. We also install heavy equipment and custom machinery necessary for the plant’s production in addition to offering other facility management services.
Needs in the commercial space vary from client to client. While some offices may require a complete renovation, new properties may need to start from the ground up. Regardless, our team of professionals will have the building ready for your business to move in.
With an in-house steel fabrication shop, we are able to cut costs and deliver orders straight to our clients. We work with a variety of steel from steel structures all the way to custom designs. Some of our major productions for our clients include commercial pallet / rack systems, commercial storage & safety containers, and heavy machinery barriers.
